Therapeutic exercises and activities refers to a wide range of physical therapy techniques that focuses on restoring and maintaining strength, endurance, flexibility, stability and balance. The goal of therapeutic exercises and activities is to return an injured patient to a fully functioning, pain-free life and activities.

Strength training

Strength training is a type of physical exercise specializing in the use of resistance or weights to induce muscular contraction which increases the size of muscle, builds the strength and endurance of the muscle.

Endurance training

Endurance training is a type of exercise aimed to increase ability to exert yourself or remain active over time by increasing muscle tolerance to prolong physical stress.

Flexibility training

Flexibility training is a type of low intensity exercise aimed to increase active range of motion in the group of joints and muscles to allow a better performance of everyday activities.  

Stability and balance training

Stability and balance training is the exercise aimed to maintain or recover with minimal sway from destabilizing stimulus caused by object, self-motion or environment.
